Welcome to the Web Page supporting Operating System Concepts with Java, Seventh Edition. This new edition, published by by John Wiley & Sons, is to be released on November 15, 2006.

Much of the material in in this text (OSC-J) is derived from the Seventh Edition of Operating System Concepts (OSC), which presents concepts fundamental to all operating systems, rather than particular implementations of systems. OSC-J illustrates specific algorithms using Java, and provides detailed descriptions of the Java code. Thus it can be considered a more applied text than OSC.
